Shryock gains USMTS North Region lead, Cramer charges to second at Tri-State for Team HTL



LANCASTER, Ky. -- Team Hi Tech Lubricants driver Kelly Shryock picked up one win and four Top Five finishes in USMTS action this week. Kelly piloted his #3 to a victory at the Hamilton County Speedway in Webster City, IA last Tuesday night. He had a fourth place run last Monday night at the Adams County (IA) Speedway and a pair of runner-up finishes in the 'Roughrider Classic' events at the Nodak (ND) Speedway this past weekend.

With Kelly's win at Webster City last Tuesday, Kelly took over the point lead in the USMTS North region. Kelly continues to lead the USMTS National point standings and the USMTS South region standings. The latest USMTS news and point standings can be found at www.usmts.com.

Jesse Cramer also posted a pair of impressive finishes over the weekend. Jesse wheeled his #12t to a sixth place finish at the Bloomington (IN) Speedway on Friday night after winning his heat and the dash. After a rainout at the Kamp (IN) Motor Speedway on Saturday night, Jesse charged from his nineteenth place starting spot at the Tri-State (IN) Speedway on Sunday to earn a runner-up finish. As of June 7, Jesse was 30th in the National UMP point standings and fourth in Indiana UMP points.

J.P. Karpowicz did not get to compete in his AMSOIL / Hi Tech Lubricants #2 modified this past weekend, as the events at the Limaland (OH) Motorsports Park on Friday and the Lake Cumberland (KY) Speedway on Saturday got rained out. J.P. will be joining the Southern Region of the USMTS National Tour at Lebanon Speedway in Lebanon, MO this Saturday night. He is also scheduled to compete in the event on Sunday at the Monett Speedway in Monett, MO. Both events will pay $2,000 to the winner.

Kelly Shryock will continue on the USMTS National Tour this week with the following events. All races are scheduled to pay $2,000 to win.

6/14 - Jamestown Speedway - Jamestown, ND

6/15 - Deer Creek Speedway - Spring Valley, MN

6/16 - Southern Iowa Speedway - Oskaloosa, IA

6/17 - Scotland County Speedway - Memphis, MO

6/18 - Bolivar Speedway - Bolivar, MO

6/19 - Lebanon Speedway - Lebanon, MO

6/20 - Monett Speedway - Monett, MO

Jesse will continue his quest for the Bloomington (IN) Speedway track championship this Friday night. He will then travel to either the Kamp (IN) Motor Speedway or the Twin Cities Raceway Park in Vernon, IN on Saturday.
