USMTS Modifieds coming to Thunderhill
MAYETTA, Kan. -- The United States Modified Touring Series is scheduled to make a stop at Thunderhill Speedway in Mayetta, KS on Saturday, June 26. Also scheduled to run will be Factory Stocks and Superstocks.
Some of the best Modified drivers in the country will be competing for the $2000 top prize on Saturday night. Kelly Shryock, Tommy Myer, Jon Tesch, Mark Noble, and Al Hejna make up the top five in USMTS standings, and are expected to be on hand this Saturday along with many more of the areas top drivers. Kelly Shryock won both events during the March USMTS visit to Thunderhill.
Many regular drivers are also expected to be on hand to take their shot at the USMTS regulars. There have been seven different winners in eleven regular races this season in the Modified division. In the Superstocks, Kerry Davis returned to victory lane after a two week absence, bringing his win total to eight on the season for that class. Josh Everhart continued his hot streak in the Factory Stock class by winning his third consecutive feature in a row.
