Outlaw Motor Speedway cancels Aug. 27 USMTS event

MUSKOGEE, Okla. -- The USMTS race scheduled for Outlaw Motor Speedway in Muskogee, Okla., for Friday Aug. 27, has been canceled by promoter Gary Clay.

The USMTS was told that they are very interested in having a race next season, but would like to cancel the race that was rescheduled for Aug. 27.

The USMTS was scheduled to race in May down at three tracks, but Mother Nature did not allow that to happen and all three races were rescheduled for Aug. 27-29.

The USMTS will still race on Saturday at the Salina (Okla.) Highbanks Speedway and will move to the Monett (Mo.) Speedway on Sunday, Aug. 29.

The USMTS will try again for next season at the Outlaw Motor Speedway as it is a very beautiful racing facility for drivers and fans. For more information call the USMTS office at 515-832-7944.
