SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - On Saturday night, May 16, thunder will hit the quick quarter mile-dirt oval at the Springfield Raceway as the stars of the USMTS Casey's General Stores National Tour will tackle the tough USRA local drivers in a $2,000-to-win feature event.

The inaugural contest is also a Bear Tire Mo-Kan Region event and will attract the best Modified drivers around.

Drivers from Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, Iowa and all around will battle as current Bear Tire Mo-Kan Region points leader Jason Hughes of Oklahoma, Jon Tesch of South Dakota, Justin Boney of Kansas, Bryan Rowland of Oklahoma, Johhny Bone Jr. of Arkansas and others will battle the local USRA Modified stars including defending Springfield Raceway track champion Jackie Dalton of Carthage, Mitch Keeter of Webb City, Scott Drake of Webb City, Steve Muilenburg of Sparta, Jody Tillman of Branson West and many more.

Racing action will also include point races for the SportMods and Legends Cars.

Grandstand gates will open at 5:00 with hot laps set for 6:15 and racing at 7:00.
