Shryock wins three for Team HTL
<p>LANCASTER, Ky. -- Kelly Shryock was on top of his game last week, and raced his way to impressive finishes. The Fertile, IA driver competed every day of the week en route to posting three victories, a pair of runner-up finishes, and a pair of fourth place efforts. A brief summary of the current USMTS point leader's weeklong effort is shown below. Sunday, August 15 - I-35 Speedway, Mason City, IA - UNSANCTIONED A-Main - 1ST Monday, August 16 - Upper Iowa Speedway, Decorah, IA - USMTS, $2,000 Heat - 2nd A-Main - 2nd Tuesday, August 17 - Cresco Speedway, Cresco, IA - USMTS, $2,000 Heat - 1st (started ninth) A-Main - 1ST Wednesday, August 18 - Steele County Fairgrounds, Owatonna, MN - USMTS, $2,000 A-Main - 2nd Thursday, August 19 - Steele County Fairgrounds, Owatonna, MN - UMSTS, $2,000 Heat - 2nd A-Main - 1ST Friday, August 20 - Murray County Speedway, Slayton, MN - USMTS, $2,000 Heat - 1st A-Main - 4th Saturday, August 21 - Jackson Speedway, Jackson, MN - USMTS, $2,000 Heat - 2nd A-Main - 4th. The week ahead will be a much lighter one for Shryock. He will jump back on the USMTS circuit this Saturday night at the Salina High Banks in Salina, OK. Sunday will take the #3 to the Monett Speedway in Monett, MO for another USMTS event. Both events this weekend will pay $2,000 to the winner.
