Attention Drivers: submit your résumé to be part of Casey’s Crew

Last season, the USMTS put together the Casey's Crew. Al Hejna, Jason Hughes, Mark Noble, Kelly Shryock and Zack VanderBeek were selected based on their series-leading attendance during the first nine seasons of the USMTS. All five will carried sponsorship from Casey’s General Stores and their associated vendors for at least 10 races each during the 2008 season.

This season, the USMTS is accepting résumés from drivers who wish to be a part of the Casey's Crew in 2009. Three drivers will be selected based on several criteria including, but not limited to, accomplishments both inside and outside of the cockpit, popularity among both fans and fellow competitors and the ability to represent themselves, the USMTS and Casey's General Stores in a positive manner.

In addition to sponsorship money from Casey's General Stores, the three selected drivers will receive a colorful wrap for their Modified from New Vision Graphics (www.newvisiongraphics.cc), a new fire suit from AwesomeRaceSuits.com (www.awesomeracesuits.com) and custom autograph cards.

Appearances at local Casey's locations will take place during The Hunt for the Casey's General Stores USMTS National Championship, which begins Aug. 11 at the LA Raceway in La Monte, Mo., and ends with the 11th Annual Featherlite Fall Jamboree, Sept. 24-26, at the Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, Minn.

Eligible drivers must possess a valid USMTS license and must compete in all events in at least one region, plus the 18-race 'Hunt.'

Drivers may submit their résumé by fax at 515-832-7958, by email at media@usmts.com or by mailing them to USMTS headquarters at 608 Des Moines St., Webster City, IA 50595.

The deadline for submitting résumés is Sunday, May 31, and the selected drivers will be announced during the following week.

For more information, call the headquarters at (515) 832-7944.
