6th Annual Featherlite USMTS Fall Jamboree September 21-25th at Deer Creek Speedway

SPRING VALLEY, Minn. -- The biggest and best Fall Jamboree ever is coming up this season at the Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley in less than two weeks. The 2004 Jamboree has added two more nights of racing to eliminate the late nights that happened in 2003 with the more than 300+ cars in attendance. This year racing action will get underway on Tuesday night with Hobby Stocks racing for $600 to win with Iowa Stock Cars and B-Mods racing for $750 to win each class.

A complete program will be run for each class on Tuesday night. Wednesday night racing action will get underway at 6:30 pm with two local classes running. The Wissota Street Stocks will run a complete program and pay the winner $600 with the Midwest Mods trying to qualify for the Saturday main event that will pay $2000 to the winner. Heats, B-mains, and the A-mains will all be run on Wednesday night for these two classes as well as an open practice for the modifieds. The top six Midwest Mods will be locked into the inside row of Saturday nights main event.

On Thursday night the first night of USMTS modified action will take place with the winner of this show pocketing the $2000 paycheck. The final night of qualifying will take place on Thursday night for the Midwest Mods with the top six cars locking into the Saturday main event on the outside. Midwest Mods will still lock in twelve more cars in the last chance races on Saturday evening. Racing action will once again get underway at 6:30 pm on Thursday evening.

Friday night will see the first night of qualifying for the Wissota Super Stocks with the top twelve drivers locking themselves into the Saturday $2000 to win main event. Wissota Super Stocks will also run last chance races on Saturday for the remaining twelve spots for the main event.

USMTS modifieds will also be racing on Thursday night with the winner of the main event pocketing the $4000 to win feature event. All drivers and pit crews will be invited to a feed in the pit area before the racing action on Friday with Karaoke for all fans, drivers and crews after the races on Friday evening.

A golf outing is also scheduled for Friday morning at the Spring Valley Country Club beginning at 10am for all interested golfers. Last season more than forty golfers participated. For information on the golf outing call Steve Just at 507-455-1150. Only fifty golfers will be allowed at this course for the four person best shot tournament.

Saturday will be the final day of racing with the finale for the Midwest Mods that will see the winner pocket the $2000 paycheck. The Wissota Super Stock main event will also see the winner take home $2000. The USMTS modified feature will start three wide with thirty-three cars racing for the $12,000 to win main event. All drivers in the main event will be guaranteed $1,200.

Each night the top twenty-four cars that fail to qualify for the A-main will run a non-qualifier feature. On Saturday the non-qualifier will pocket $1,200 and will be asked if he would like to start at the tail of the $12,000 to win main event. In 2003 the Fall Jamboree paid out more than $150,000 to drivers and this season more than $190,000 will be paid out.

Featherlite will once again be the title sponsor with Mike’s Hard Lemonade and Dirt Doctor Trucking being the associate sponsor. In 2003 the USMTS Fall Jamboree saw more than 140 different drivers vying for the $10,000 to win purse on Saturday night and this year will only be bigger.
