KELLYVILLE, Okla. – The USMTS Casey’s General Stores National Tour/Castle Rock Recruiting Southern Series event scheduled for Thursday, March 18, has been cancelled.

“All the snow and cold weather we endured this winter has slowed progress on the extreme makeover that is underway at Creek County Speedway,” said promoter Jackie Green.

No date has been set yet for a possible make-up of the show.

The rugged USMTS road warriors march on next weekend with trips to the Outlaw Motor Speedway near Muskogee, Okla., on Friday, March 19, and the West Siloam Speedway in West Siloam Springs, Okla., on Saturday, March 20.

This will be the first visit to the Outlaw Motor Speedway since a two-day show May 8-9, 2003, that saw Jason Hughes and Tommy Myer walk away victorious.

Both events are expected to attract a powerful field of entries as both points will be awarded for both the USMTS Casey’s General Stores National Tour and USMTS Castle Rock Recruiting Southern Series.
