CLINTON, Okla. – A practice session has been scheduled for Thursday night, April 29, at the Wild West Speedway in Clinton, Okla.

Formerly known as Clinton Motorsports Park, the facility has hosted numerous special events for Modifieds over the years, but Friday’s event at the 3/8-mile high-banked clay oval will be the first ever for the United States Modified Touring Series.

Drivers in all classes are invited to take part in Thursday’s test ‘n’ tune session. The pits will open at 5 p.m. and the track will be open for practice until 11 p.m.

The event on Friday, April 30 will kick off three straight nights of action for the USMTS Castle Rock Recruiting Southern Series as the series invades three facilities for the first time. Saturday, May 1, will find the rugged road warriors at the Route 66 Motor Speedway in Amarillo, Texas, and the weekend will wrap up at the Lubbock Motor Speedway on Sunday, May 2.
