Compstar reignites USMTS Engine Builder of the Year Award in 2023

Compstar reignites USMTS Engine Builder of the Year Award in 2023

Compstar Engine Components by Callies Performance Products returns as the sponsor of the popular Engine Builder of the Year Award in 2023 for the Summit USMTS National Championship presented by RacinDirt.

Compstar will supply USMTS competitors with year-end awards to the top five in the Engine Builder of the Year points, as well as contributing cold, hard cash to the points funds for all USMTS racers.

Cornett Race Engines earned the Engine Builder of the Year Award in 2022. It was the second straight USMTS powerplant prize for the company based out of Somerset, Kentucky. After securing the title in 2021 with 15 feature wins, that mark was nearly topped last season as Cornett captured 14 USMTS main event wins.

Mullins Race Engines leads all former winners with five titles. Sput's Racing Engines has won it three times, Hatfield Racing Engines has two and the award has been bestowed one time to Durham Racing Engines, Geddes Racing Engines and Pro Power Racing.

Compstar components were introduced in 2004 as a product line designed to meet and exceed the requirements of today's racer at a sensible price point. Callies' value driven approach is to design and engineer here in the U.S., then source through long term vendors, supported by our engineers, giving us distinct technical and quality advantages.

This coupled with our American craftsmen, that finish the components at our facility in Fostoria, Ohio, create a combination that is considerably more robust and stable than our competitors. We are not just an importer of product, we are a manufacturer that wants to bring products to our customers at all price points.
