Rain wins again; Osky and Allison rescheduled for Sept. 20-21
ALLISON, Iowa - A heavy late-afternoon rain shower wiped out any hope of racing at the Highway 3 Raceway in Allison, Iowa, Thursday night.
The race at the Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa was also rained out Wednesday after Tuesday night's main event at the Marshalltown Speedway was cut to just 20 laps after inclement weather hit the track.
The event at Oskaloosa has been rescheduled for Monday, Sept. 20, and the Allison event will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 21.
From there, it's on to the Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, Minn., on Wednesday for practice night prior to the 12th Annual Featherlite Fall Jamboree on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Sept. 23-25.
