Meanwhile, Joe Duvall (91) had to hurry back to the track after returning home to survey damage from a flurry of Oklahoma tornadoes that passed over his house the previous night. After getting caught up in a pile-up earlier in this heat race, his race car looked like it had been through a twister.

Leftwich named Assistant GM, Competition Director for Lucas Oil Speedway

Ernie leftwich, an Ozarks-area native who's been an avid follower of dirt-track racing his entire life, is joining Lucas Oil Speedway as Assistant General Manager.
