Meanwhile, Joe Duvall (91) had to hurry back to the track after returning home to survey damage from a flurry of Oklahoma tornadoes that passed over his house the previous night. After getting caught up in a pile-up earlier in this heat race, his race car looked like it had been through a twister.

For the first time in more than a decade, the Summit USMTS National Championship presented by RacinDirt visited the Hancock County Speedway in Britt, Iowa, on Friday, with a field of 50 road warriors in the pits for the Hobo 100k Nickel Nationals.
