Hughes on the cover of May issue of Dirt Modified Magazine

Among the many articles covering the world of dirt modified racing, readers will be introduced to Missouri’s Joe Walker (pg. 58) and you can check out Wisconsin veteran Ron Schreiner as he talks racing, business and his 35 years in the sport (pg. 80).
Writer Wendy Bohonek helps shed some light on what a few regular racers do when they’re not a the track (pg. 29), Mark Bush discusses motion ratios and how two small changes have revolutionized dirt racing (pg. 49) and take an inside look at SFI: the racer’s safety advocate (pg. 55).
Plus insightful articles from several columnists including Ray Beste (pg. 7) and Cyndi Stiffler (pg. 11).
The May issue of Dirt Modified Magazine wiil begin to arrive in mailboxes next week and will be available at the USMTS souvenir trailer beginning with the events this weekend, April 16-17, at the Central Missouri Speedway in Warrensburg, Mo., and Valley Speedway in Grain Valley, Mo.
