KILGORE, Texas—Lonestar Speedway racers and fans are chomping at the bit for the next blockbuster event on the schedule, Saturday, April 30, when the Modified teams get their chance to take on the best in the nation with the United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS).

A whopping $3,000 will go to the feature winner, with a total posted purse in excess of $20,000 which includes the Limited Mods competing for $750 to win while the first Factory Stock driver to cross the checkers will take home $500. This is a full points night for all Lonestar Speedway points divisions, and the FWD 4-Cylinders will round out the four-division racing card.

This is the first USMTS event at the Lonestar Speedway in five years (the past two were rained out) and race fans can expect to see many of the nation's finest open-wheel dirt modified drivers taking on the strong contingent of Lonestar Speedway Modified drivers who are poised to defend their home turf.
