Short Track Network’s Midwest Speed Zone grabs Dodge for title sponsorship

ATLANTIC, Iowa -- Officials from the Short Track Network announced today that Dodge will be the official title sponsor for their Midwest Speed Zone television show.

This year will be an awesome year with the backing of a major corporation like Dodge, which has a strong foothold in the racing industry. Dodge has always been a powerful force when it comes to racing of all types. The Short Track Network is excited about working with all the Local Area Dodge dealers in the Midwest to bring Grassroots Racing to the Next Level.

“As our motto (Bringing Grassroots Racing to the Next Level) goes, we’re doing what we can to heighten exposure of short track grassroots racing,” said Joe Pate, Short Track Network’s owner and producer of Midwest Speed Zone. “It’s very hard these days for drivers and track owners to gain sponsorship, and we feel that everything we do -- from video tapes and TV shows to this year's Internet broadcasting -- will bring more eyes to the drivers and track owners. And, as we all know, more eyes mean more money.”

With Dodge’s support, the Short Track Network will be focusing on a local track at Corning, Iowa’s Adams County Speedway and their local NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series, but are also committed to traveling around the Midwest. The Short Track Network will be covering as many different events as possible, including series such as the O’Reilly USMTS and WDRL Late Model Series.

“We are looking forward to representing the Midwest Area Dodge Dealers in all the races and events we will be covering this year,” Pate added.
