The United States Modified Touring Series will host its annual awards banquet for drivers competing in this year’s Casey’s General Stores USMTS National Championship one month from today on Friday, February 22, at the Ameristar Casino Hotel in Kansas City.

Today (January 22) is the final day to get discounted hotel reservations, so call the Ameristar Casino Hotel at (816) 414-7000 (press 1 when prompted) and use the code SCUSMOD to get the $99 rate.

Individual tickets are $40 each and are on sale now by calling the USMTS offices at (515) 832-7944. The deadline to order tickets is Wednesday, February 13, but will likely sell out before that date. Only 240 tickets will be sold.

Headlining the honorees will be 2018 Casey’s USMTS National Champion and Summit USMTS Southern Series Champion Johnny Scott, along with the top points earners in both series including 2018 Grant Junghans USMTS Rookie of the Year Jake O’Neil.

This year’s celebration will once again be a joint effort for both the USMTS and United States Racing Association (USRA). Fans and members of the media are invited to attend too.

Doors open and social hour begins at 6 p.m. Dinner will be served at 7 and the awards ceremony begins around 8 p.m. (no jeans or hats please). In addition to the awards ceremony, the evening’s meal will feature a luxurious and plentiful selection of fine food, plus a huge dessert bar. A cash bar will also be available.

The Ameristar Casino Hotel is an entertainment hub that offers something for everyone with huge casino floors, nine restaurants ranging from casual to fine dining, a luxury hotel, 18 movie screens, supervised child care and more.
