Three Wide Media launches new Dirt Modified Magazine

INDEPENDENCE, Iowa - Three Wide Media announced in June the launch of a new publication, Dirt Modified Magazine. Three Wide Media, LLC, based in Independence, Iowa, currently publishes Dirt Late Model Magazine and Flat Out Magazine and has added a third member to the family to appeal to dirt modified fans from coast to coast.

The cover for the debut issue, which hit the hands of rabid readers on Tuesday, features eight-time O'Reilly USMTS champ Kelly Shryock, along with O’Reilly USMTS competitor Steve Arpin.

Dirt Modified Magazine, Volume 1, Number 1, also contains an in-depth story about the upcoming Featherlite Fall Jamboree, slated for Sept. 5-8 at the Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, Minn., as well as insightful commentary and colorful illustrations from cover to cover.

Three Wide Media CEO Brian Lillie indicated that the company hopes to reach a totally new market with Dirt Modified Magazine that is in keeping with its grassroots racing niche.

“We feel like dirt modified racing is a huge untapped market for us and our advertisers,” said Lillie. “The dirt modified racing community does not have a monthly driver profile and feature story style publication that speaks directly to the racers, track owners, sanctioning bodies, car owners and fans of what we think is one of the most exciting kinds of grassroots racing in America today.”

According to Three Wide Media President Mike O’Connor, in delivering Dirt Modified Magazine to the public, the company is answering the repeated requests of all parties interested in dirt modified racing.

“From the day we took over publishing Dirt Late Model and Flat Out magazines we have literally been bombarded with requests to do a dirt modified magazine,” said O’Connor. “From fans and subscribers to drivers, to current and prospective advertisers, we’ve been pushed hard in this direction. We feel like Dirt Modified Magazine fills a void for everyone involved in Dirt Modified racing and for sure, it gives advertisers a whole new way to reach a really big market in dirt racing.”

Race fans can purchase a copy of the new Dirt Modified Magazine at the USMTS souvenir trailer beginning this Thursday at the Highway 3 Raceway in Allison, Iowa.

Subscription and advertising inquiries can be directed towards the company’s headquarters via its toll-free line at 800-536-5277 or online at www.threewidemedia.com.
