Notes: Donlinger leads the whole way in yet another heat race without a caution. Noble alone was worth the price of admission as he rode the wall, hugged the bottom and used a couple slide jobs to take the runner-up spot.

HEAT #7 (15 laps) Line-up:
1. 23 - Karau, Darwin / 31 - Dripps, Corey
2. 27x - Erickson, Delaney / 19g - Gustin Jr., Richie

Notes: Figures … about the time we start gloating about four of six heats going caution-free, the seventh heat steps in and makes up for the first six. Ramirez has twice been in the wrong place at the wrong time and his wicked-looking new Kraft Kar is bent on every corner, but he’s still racing. Dripps is trying to run away, but the yellows keep everybody close to him. Seven laps in and second-running Gustin tags the wall in turn 4 to bring out the race’s fourth caution. The last half stays clean and Dripps moves the cushion up a bit higher en route to a nice win over 2001 Jamboree winner Kraft.

Notes: One caution at the start, but nice and clean after that. York looked real good as he held off King and Chapman.

2. 83 - Willy Kraft … 68.5
3. 14 - Jon Tesch … 63.5

6. 7k - Jason Krohn … 61.0
7. 21m - Dean Mahlstedt … 60.5
8. 66 - Dan Bohr … 60.5

Notes: The top 8 in Home Pride Passing Points will redraw for starting positions 1-8 in tonight’s 30-car (that’s right, 30), 35-lap A Main. There will be five B Mains with just the top-2 in each transferring to the A Main. The field for the A Main will be completed with the addition of two O’Reilly USMTS provisionals … the weather in Spring Valley is perfect, the grandstands are jam-packed (it’s only Thursday) and the racing has been incredible with five 10-lap WISSOTA Midwest Mod heats, eight 15-lap O’Reilly USMTS Modified heats (114 cars total) were completed in just a little more than an hour … The track has been smooth and fast with no sign of drying out or rubbering up despite no additional track work since the first WISSOTA Midwest Mod heat took the green and 170 laps of up-on-the-bars racing throughout three good grooves. If anybody can find a single hole or rut on the track surface, alert the media because we can’t find one!

Notes: The best race of the night. Skaggs searched high and low for nine laps before finally getting past Ihrke for the lead. Reisch and Long made it three-wide with Ihrke for the runner-up and final transfer spot, with Reisch edging Long at the line to join Skaggs in the big dance.

REAL RACING WHEELS “B” MAIN #4 (18 laps, top 2 advance) Line-Up:

Notes: This one started off with Neal and Hejna trading some paint. Neal took the the lead with Timm into second and Hejna dropping to third. One lap later, Hejna was back around both of them and Neal spun in turn 4 on the next lap to bring out the race's only caution. Hejna held off the race-long challenges of Timm as both drivers transfer to the $2,000-to-win A Main. Kinder passed a ton of cars coming from 16th to fifth, but the climb was too much for the defending Jamboree champ.

REAL RACING WHEELS “B” MAIN #5 (18 laps, top 2 advance) Line-Up:

2. 55m Mondus, Alan / 19k Kracht, Marlin

Notes: The first lap sees a turn-4 spin by Kracht in front of the oncoming traffic, collecting Texas Hunter Malchus. After that, Miller built a huge lead until a caution with four laps erased his advantage. With two to go, Eckhart, who started dead last, moved by Miller on the inside and took the win and transfer spot. Miller got the final transfer spot of the night ahead of a great battle for third between Wetzstein, Mondus and Green.

Notes: Almost … 33 laps down, 2 to go and the leader, Krohn, collides with the lapped car of Sorensen. Both cars slide to the bottom of the track but Sorensen stops while Krohn continues moving to retain his lead for the restart. Wow!!! 30 cars almost make it 35 laps without a rest!!!! Two to go it's Krohn, Tesch, Hughes (from 16th), Mahlstedt, Donlinger, Waits, Kraft, Shryock, Noble and Bohr your top-10!!!

Contact going into turn 1 on the restart as Waits gets into the rear of Mahlstedt, sending Mahlstedt spinning to the bottom and Kraft very hard into the turn 2 wall. Also involved were Dripps, who smacked Kraft pretty hard, Arpin, Timm and Lerch. Both Mahlstedt and Kraft leave the track with help from the wrecker, and Arpin is out too. for the restart, you top-4 in points are first (Krohn), second (Tesch), third (Hughes) and sixth (Shryock).

Let's try this again - a two-lap dash to the finish.

Wooooohooooo, what a finish! They take the white flag and Krohn, Hughes and Tesch go three-wide out of turn 2. Krohn inches ahead going into turn 3 and it's enough to secure the win, the $2,000 top prize and some valuable points in his quest to be the next O’Reilly USMTS national champion! Tesch just beats Hughes by a nose for second.

Top 5 in points after Thursday night:

1. Jason Krohn - 1233
2. Jason Hughes - 1203 (-30)
2. Kelly Shryock - 1203 (-30)
4. Jon Tesch - 1087 (-146)
5. Tommy Myer - 1072 (-161)
