Hughes joins new era in racing shocks with JRi

MOORESVILLE, N.C. -- Award winning chassis manufacturer and champion Modified racer Jason Hughes has formed a technical partnership with JRi Shocks to offer Hughes Race Cars customers only the best in shock absorber technology.

“JRi Shocks designed a really good shock,” said Hughes of the JRi SL/10, which was developed with the same performance based technology that JRi incorporates in all of their products, while remaining cost effective for the racer. “I am very impressed with the performance of the shock, and the fact that JRi improved and customized the shock package to achieve the feel I was personally looking for based on my feedback.”

The JRi SL/10 Steel Body Damper features innovative technology that allows for low hysteresis, high frequency response, low rod pressure, and a low drag, lightweight design. The nitrogen charged shock is available with or without a Schrader valve and in non and double adjustable designs to conform to series rules.

Not only is JRi Shocks leading the new era in shock absorber technology, but also in technical support. Whether in Circle Track, Drag Racing, NASCAR, or IndyCar, JRi Shocks provides industry leading on-site track support and non-stop customer service to all customers.

“JRi's technical support is better than I have ever had,” said Hughes, the 2010 United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) Champion. “The customer service is phenomenal. They go above and beyond what I expected to make everything better.”

In order to extend JRi's unrivaled technology and performance, Hughes Race Cars has joined JRi Shocks as a distributor. Over the past several years, Hughes Race Cars have become one of the most renowned Open Wheel Modified chassis on the planet. JRi Shocks and Hughes Race Cars share the desire to be the best, as both JRi and the two-time defending USMTS Manufacturers Championship victor continuously strive to improve an already dominant product through research, feedback, and innovative technology.

Since forming the technical alliance, both Hughes and drivers piloting a Hughes Racing Chassis have already found success with JRi Shocks on the racetrack. In addition to Hughes's multiple podium finishes in USMTS competition, Chris Brown recently scored a USMTS victory in Texas.
