Jason Krohn needed a motor Tuesday night, so his friend and chassis builder, Kelly Shryock, hooked him up with his spare powerplant. Shryock won the race while Krohn finished second after an impressive run from 19th on the starting grid. On Wednesday night, the O’Reilly USMTS ventured to the Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa, Iowa. Krohn still had the borrowed motor under his hood, and it paid dividends. …

Patience paid off for Fertile, Iowa's Kelly Shryock as he sped to victory in the Holley “A” Main Tuesday as the O’Reilly USTMS invaded the Adams County Speedway in Corning, Iowa. The win, worth $2,000 to the eight-time defending national champ, was his seventh National Event win of the season in 15 races -- his first in four starts in the tough Western Region. …

A native of Emporia, Kan., Clint Bowyer captured more than 200 wins and numerous championships during his dirt track racing career. In 1996, he began racing street stocks at Thunderhill Speedway in Mayetta, Kan., and won the Modified championship there in 2000. He racked up 18 wins and 32 top-five finishes on his way to capturing the 2001 Modified track championships at Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Kan., and Heartland Park Topeka. …

On Sunday night, Brad Waits was untouchable as he led all 35 laps of the 6th Annual Minnesota Spring Fling at the Kasson Speedway en route to his first O’Reilly USMTS victory of the season.
