USMTS unleashes 2025 schedule
On the heels of an historic season for the world's most demanding and talent-rich campaign for outlaw dirt Modifieds, officials from the United States Modified Touring Series have announced another bold and lucrative schedule for 2025 racing season for the Summit USMTS National Championship presented by RacinDirt.
More than $250,000 is committed to the points fund.
Last year, 13 different winners claimed victories, and 13 competitors attended every event. The season saw a diversity in equipment with 39 different chassis and 45 different engines competing throughout the year. Each were highlighted by feature wins for 10 different brands.
An explosive 2025 campaign lights the fuse with a huge month of action in March.
On Friday and Saturday, Feb. 28 and March 1, the Heart O' Texas Speedway in Elm Mott, Texas, hosts the 10th Annual USMTS Winter Nationals. The series returns for the season-ending USMTS Texas Cotton Palace Clash presented by Good Auto Diagnostics, Oct. 31 and Nov. 1.
A week later, it's a return to the Rocket Raceway Park in Petty, Texas, for the 15th Annual USMTS Texas Spring Nationals on Friday and Saturday, March 7-8.
Finally, King of America XIV will be hosted outside of the walls of the Humboldt Speedway for the first time as the royal rumble moves to the Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Mo., Thursday-Saturday, March 27-29, with $20,000 to win on the line.
Other popular crown jewel events return this year, including the 26th Annual Masters at the Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wis., June 12-14, and the 27th Annual Featherlite Fall Jamboree presented by RacinDirt, Sept. 25-27, at the Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, Minn.
Along the grueling dirt road that has produced just ten different champions in the previous 26 seasons, fans and drivers will visit legendary facilities hosting long-time USMTS classics, new and exciting venues, inaugural events and some tracks returning to the schedule after a multi-year absence.
For the first time since 2009, the Summit USMTS Modifieds are invading the Hancock County Speedway in Britt, Iowa, to stage the series' 14th event there. Other venues returning after an extended absence include the Casino Speedway in Watertown, S.D.; Creek County Speedway in Kellyville, Okla.; Granite City Motor Park in Sauk Rapids, Minn.; Electric City Speedway in Butler, Mo.; and Scotland County Speedway in Memphis, Mo.
After being rained out last year, the USMTS will visit the Off-Road Speedway in Norfolk, Neb., for the first time on Wednesday, June 18, and makes its maiden voyage to the Princeton (Minn.) Speedway on July 18.
