Callies puts power in USMTS Engine Builder of the Year Award

Callies Performance Products is back again in 2025 as the title sponsor of the Callies USMTS Engine Builder of the Year Award.

The top engine builder will earn a $500 product certificate. Additional year-end certificates to the remaining top five will be $750, $500, $300 and $200, respectively.

They're also adding cold, hard cash to the year-end national points fund.

Last year, Kevin Stoa Engineering of Albert Lea, Minn., earned their first Callies USMTS Engine Builder of the Year Award, keeping Mullins Race Engines from capturing their series-best seventh such title.

Sput's Racing Engines has won it three times while Cornett Racing Engines and Hatfield Racing Engines each have two. The award has been bestowed once to KSE, Durham Racing Engines, Geddes Racing Engines and Pro Power Racing.

Points are awarded by finishing position in the "A" Main at every  Summit USMTS National Championship presented by RacinDirt. The highest-finishing engine builder earns 10 points, the second-highest earns 9 points and so forth down to 1 point for each engine builder that starts the "A" Main.
