Wolff wins Red, White & Blue Nationals opener

POCOLA, Okla. (Sept. 11, 2025)—In a spectacular Salute to the Heroes Night at Tri-State Speedway on Thursday, Tyler Wolff of Fayetteville, Ark., claimed the inaugural Red, White & Blue Nationals victory in the main event for the Summit USMTS National Championship presented by RacinDirt.

A formidable force in the region and always a threat to win at his "home track," Wolff drove a flawless race from the pole of the 30-lap feature after passsing Reece Solander on lap seven, setting a blistering pace and holding off all challenges to secure the win.

Right behind him, the race for the podium was a fierce, high-speed chess match. Kyle Slader of Muskogee finished second, thrilling the crowd with his determined run, and the consistent Tanner Mullens of Wichita, Kan., rounding out the top three

Defending USMTS national champ, Jim Chisholm of Osage, Iowa, scored a fourth-place finish, followed by Joe "Big Daddy" Duvall of Justice, who rounded out the top five,.

The rest of the top ten featured a mix of USMTS veterans and rising stars. Jake O'Neil of Tucson, Ariz., came in sixth, while Cade Dillard of Robeline, La., secured seventh. Points leader Rodney Sanders of Happy, Texas, finished in a solid eighth, earning valuable championship points.

Brandon Givens of Wichita, Kan., and Terry Phillips of Springfield, Mo., completed the top ten, with Phillips making a remarkable charge from the 21st starting position to finish tenth.

With the Red, White & Blue Nationals just getting started, the competition is expected to ramp up in the coming nights. The Summit USMTS National Championship series moves on to the second night of the tripleheader, with drivers battling for a place in victory lane and crucial championship points.

Friday is "Honor the Fallen Night" paying $5,000 to win for the USMTS Modifieds, and $700 for the USRA Stock Cars and USRA B-Mods. Saturday is "Never Forget Night" with $20,000 going to the USMTS Modified main event winner, with no less than $1,000 to start for all drivers in the feature race.
