Kenny Wallace to compete with USMTS at Midway Speedway


LEBANON, Mo. – Popular NASCAR driver and TV host Kenny Wallace will be competing with the toughest Modifieds in the Midwest when the United States Modified Touring Series makes its only stop of 2009 at the Midway Speedway on Friday night, May 15, at the Action Track of the Ozarks.

Wallace, who has a second-place feature finish at the Midway Speedway, will be competing in his own Impressive Race Cars chassis from the Donnie Jumper Race shops in Hillsboro, Mo.

Wallace will be attempting to make the USMTS National Tour main event over a star-studded field including eight-time USMTS National Champion Kelly Shryock, Jason Hughes, Zack VanderBeek, Jon Tesch, Dereck Ramirez and a host of tough locals, including two-time track champion Jamie Ragland of Lebanon, 2007 track champion Eric Hudson of Rolla, 2006 track champion Tony Jackson Jr. of Lebanon and many others.
