Tooling up with Centroid CNC at new Edelbrock Race Center
Edelbrock corporate headquarters is based in Southern California, but the company is charging forward into 2020 with a new facility in North Carolina that will be focused specifically on machining cylinder heads for racing.
The new Edelbrock Race Center is currently tooling up with Centroid CNC machining centers.
Edelbrock Project Manager for Cylinder Heads, Matt Gamble, is heading up this venture and will serve as the Race Center’s director.
Shown here is the American-made A590, a state-of-the-art 5-axis machining platform that Gamble says will provide consistent quality with faithful reproduction of our original designs.
The A590 is capable of maintaining the repeatability and high tolerances needed for high-horsepower racing applications.
